Use these electrical-to-optical converters for measurements or experiments. Simply connect the device to the output terminal of your electronic system; e.g., a function generator, sweep generator or network analyzer. Features include high sensitivity, wide range, low noise and compact size.
LL-400GI (400 nm band 1200 MHz E-to-O Converter)
|
The LL-400GI is an electrical to optical signal converter for measurements or experiments. Simply connect the LL-400GI to the output terminal of your electronic system.
If you do not need optical signal modulation, you can use the LL-400GI without a modulation signal. In this case, the LL-400GI works as a CW light source. The optical power of the CW light is adjusted to provide 0.25 mW when a 50/125 GI-type optical fiber is used. (Note: A single-mode laser is used in the LL-400GI, so mode-hopping noise may be generated from the optical output. If a very low-noise CW optical signal is desired, inject a high frequency signal into the modulation input terminal.)
